Safety and Animal Handling
-
Dogs
- Dogs should be secured with a lead and collar during the visit.

- If your dog has a history of nervousness or aggression, a muzzle must be used during the assessment.
-
Cats
- Cats should be confined to a specific room to ensure they can be examined promptly.
- If your cat is not available at the time of the appointment, a call-out fee will be charged.
-
Safety Measures
- It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their pet is safe for handling by the vet team.
- A responsible person familiar with the pet must be present to assist with restraint, if necessary.
-
Right to Decline Services
- If we are unable to examine your pet safely or within a reasonable timeframe, we reserve the right to end the visit. The full fee will still apply.
